So let's get started. Keegan is currently playing his first year in tackle football, following 3 years in flag football. To date his team is 0 and 4, but the team has made great progress and has come a long way and Keegan is working his tail feathers off, I am proud of all of them. If you sit back and think about it, this maybe the first year for some kids in football period and even the kids who played flag football, the biggest rule was, "Do not tackle, grab the flag" Now all of a sudden the biggest rule is, "Tackle them, take them down" that is a big difference. Plus you have 4th and 5th grades ages 9 or 10 who play tackle football on the full sized football field. They play on the same field as the highschoolers. That is a big field for such little kids to get the ball down, but they are doing it and I love watching it. Keegan has 2 games left, 10-10 and 10-17. His practices are Mon.-Wed. for 2 hours. Before school started practices were 4 days a week for 2 hrs and they started the first of Aug. so the kids have been working hard. I love watching games and practices both. You get to see alot of the behind the scene things at practice that u do not get to see at the game. I am a huge fan.
Ok, so Keegan is doing very well in school, good grades and not a single bad report. I am soo proud of him, he has come a long way. He is so funny and makes me laugh, sometimes at things i should not be laughing at, but I do. Clay will get picking on Keeg and Keeg has just had enough and he will push Clay down and I just start laughing. It's hard cause I can not let Keeg push Clay down, but then I am thinking, "well he deserved it."
Clay is in his second year of pre-school and so far so good. No bad reports !! My mom referred to Keegan as Devil Boy, I am not real sure what she would have come up with for Clay, but Devil Boy would have just been the beginning for Clay. He exceeds it for sure. Clay is a goofball and I have pics to prove it. Clay has learned the color red and number 4 in school so far. He loves it.
Well I will close for now, I realize most of you already knew this stuff, but fresh info is to come.
